World, what is the deal with this obsession with numbers? How old or young we are, how much money we make, how much something costs, how much we weigh...what happens when we stop focusing on numbers and start focusing on quality of life? If you are a happy, healthy, productive member of society, what does it matter your age, weight or bank account?
I bring this subject up (breifly, 'cause I have 'thangs' to do!) because today I had to listen to a beautiful woman rant (sorry) about her recent weight gain, and all I could think was "where the heck did society go wrong?" I mean seriously, how is my weight affecting your life? Oh, not at all? Then move along. Now don't get me wrong healty=good, however, healthy does not=some socially defined number! You look beautiful in the skin you're in, so own it! I often tell people who are baffled by my numerical weight, "It's not what you're carrying but how you're carrying it." Radiate confidence and genuinely love yourself and no one worth your time will see anything different!
*Pictures included because like most, this woman didn't believe my weight. Ha!
